Chris Taylor:
(French Exchange 07)
I studied French at OSFC last year, and went on the French and Spanish exchanges. It was a great experience working in the primary schools and it really helps you with your language skills. When you come back, you feel much better in that you have improved your skills and can speak French more like a French person would. We had a great time in Paris - not only do you get to practise your French but you have a really good time with your friends and you get to know other people in your class who you might not have spoken to much before. Le Mans is a very nice place, very picturesque. The families there help you in any way they can, and never leave you bored - you get to do many things, such as visiting museums, or going on picnics! It's a really good way to experience the French culture and French life, and it's good for your UCAS application too! My advice is to go, enjoy it, and speak well! Au revoir!
